Ambra Cove (Cala D'Ambra San Teodoro) Sardinia
Close to the village of San Teodoro,
one of the southermost villages of
Olbia-Tempio, you will find the
beach of Cala d’Ambra (Spiaggia di
Cala D’Ambra). It is a small and cozy
beach, visited mainly by tourists.
Cala d’Ambra is located a little under
2 kilometers south of the beach of La
Cinta. The beach is approximately
700 meters long, and faces north-east, offering splendid views of Isola
Tavolara in the far distance. In some
places, Cala d’Ambra’s beach can be
rather pebbly, so you may want to
bring some shoes when visiting this
beach. Cala d’Ambra is a nice spot
for snorkelling, canoeing and
windsurfing. The beach is suitable
for families with children. With San
Teodoro being so close to the beach,
there are plenty of facilities in the
area, and there’s a camping
conveniently located near the beach
(Camping Cala D’Ambra).
